Visited to Penang (3D2N)

Monday, August 9th, 2010

My in-laws reached at Penang around 9.30am and checked-in hotel at 10am. We were still preparing ourselves when they called to notify about their arrival. We were taking afternoon flight, 4.30pm from Senai airport. It was kind of rushing because after done with all preparation, I had to send the maid to my cousin in-law (aka Ah Ngm) for 3 days.
Xandria & Xavier was supposedly to have their noon nap, eventually they both stayed-away the entire journey on the flight. Xavier being excited with the flight interior and exploring anything & everything he found new to him.

Gosh, it was extremely hot in Penang. We were like inside the hot oven when visited to Kek Lok Si the next morning. All of us were exhausted and I irrigated both Xandria & Xavier with plenty of water and 100 Plus too. They both love cold drinks so much…. Though it too scorching hot for us to spend too much time on outdoor activities, so we ended to shop at Gurney Plaza in the evening and had our dinner at the Gurney Drive too. I don’t take much coz it’s so crazily hot having dinner at the hawker centers. Xavier was keep whining to sleep probably due to lack of nap in the afternoon.

My sis in-law fell sick middle of night and followed by Xavier with severe flu on the third day. I ended to bring him for diagnosis at Loh Guan Lye hospital before checked out from hotel.

Eventually, we did not visited to many places or neither tasted on local cuisine. It’s simply like having a short stays in Penang. After all, it’s a good experience for traveling with 2 young children. We plan to go for another round of family trip soon, probably to Macau to try on my luck. Guess daddy should be jumping high & low for that. He’s been so addicted to online roulette lately. I guess I should do more practicing on online roulette beforehand too.

Great time in KL

Tuesday, March 23rd, 2010

We had a long weekend in KL. Daddy had something to do at Ipoh on Monday and thus, we stayed until Tuesday only returned to JB. So what we did over the weekend…

Saturday
Xandria & Xavier were having flu since 2 weeks ago and as seem the flu was like on & off with no sign of subside, I brought them to their paed in KL. Sighh, they’ve been falling sick very often since we moved into new house, wonder if the fengshui problem or what… So, had no choice but to undertake 5 days Antibiotic.

Sunday
I’ve long promised to Xandria to bring her to KL Bird Park and finally, we went on Sunday. My nephew (Oscar) & niece (JX) went along. Gosh… Xandria was so happy and excited not only because of Bird Park but also of her peer cousins. I think she was the happiest girl in this universal on the day.

my nephew Oscar, niece JX and Xanria…

while we were taking photo, an Arabian mommy came to me & asked if her son can join for photo-ing… but i think the son wasn’t that willingly. My SIL commented that they are 4 difference citizen in the photo, Japanese, Korean, Chinese and Arabian…what do you think huh??

my sis with her daughter and oscar (my brother’s son)…

and the father & son….

Monday
We were tagged along to Ipoh and had the famous steamed chicken with bean sprout (怡保芽菜鸡) as our lunch. It was so delicious and I wondered for how long I’ve not been to Ipoh for such yummy food. Imagine, both Xandria and Xavier could finish their bowl of rice.

Indeed, it was a tiring trip… Xandria refused to go back JB and wanted to stay with JX. My sis ever asked me if I have anyway of possibility to go back KL so that both Xandria & JX has a companion for schooling. I do wish for the day to come, after all it’s my hometown…

looking forward to my weekend…

Friday, March 5th, 2010

I just got speechless when it has come to Friday or I should be TGI Friday…

I got tonnes of tasks/planning on my weekend. Not only that to plan for kiddos outing, but I also wish have some home-cook meals for them. They are many pending stuff that I need to do for my house, (I mean those decorations and mess created by Gen-x). Not sure if I can get them fix before a brand new week.

Anywhere, it’s going to be very eventful weekend to us. Stay tune……

CNY celebration…

Tuesday, February 23rd, 2010

How time flies, it has come to the 10th day of CNY. I was rather busy since the day before CNY till up-to-date.

We went back to KL for the celebration on the eve of CNY and returned to JB on last Saturday. Thought of heavy traffic since it was the eve but surprisingly, the traffic wasn’t that bad as thought. The Gen-X were well behaved the entire journey. It’s always that little Xandria being the one who got so happy and excited. We put her car seat at the front passenger (with her daddy) so that I can have full concentration on the hyperactive boy. Xavier never had a moment to be sitting still on his car seat except when he was in his nap. Otherwise, he climbed up and down, exploring every single space inside the car. You can imagine how tired we all being take care of him.

On the first 3 days of CNY, we went to temple for praying. Gosh, the weather was extremely HOT everywhere in KL. First time in my life, I experienced that under an oven feeling and caused every one of us, EXHAUSTED. Thanks god that we had air-con at in-law house when reached home. Otherwise, I’ll have to run into bathroom and dip Gen-X and myself inside the bathtub.

The following days, we went to shopping malls and also Genting Highlands (since it was so near to my in-law house). It was sooooo…crowded there. Just queuing for the Cable car has taken more than half an hour. The only games with less crowded was the Merry-Go-Round. We let the children tried it twice. Xavier extremely loves it but Xandria a bit scary to be sitting on the moving horse. Sighh, wonder why this little missy has becoming so coward as she grows…

I love this photo very much…. she is so happy!!!

Xavier, the cheecky boy… loves the ride so much!!!

all of us…

It was indeed a tiring CNY to us. Both Xandria and Xavier were having good sleep at night due to no noon nap for them.

Last but not least, GONG HEI FATT CHOY to all of you from us….

Short trip to Orchard, Singapore

Wednesday, December 23rd, 2009

Over the weekend, we went to Orchard Singapore to feel the great, elegant of Christmas decoration along the street. Oh mind, it was indeed a very nice deco and also a giant Christmas tree is place in front of a shopping mall. Gosh, Xandria shouted loudly, ‘mi…, kitsmas tee (Christmas Tree)!!’ before we drove in to the car park.

my happy girl…

she’s just love Christmas tree…

Xavier feeling sleepy despite having his short nap while we were on the way….

with mommy…

…and daddy with Gen-X

the lovely sibling….

Thought of having a great shopping trip especially during this season festive, but it was so crowded until you are hardly walking a step. What’s more I am with a big bulky stroller. I ended just bought few pieces of clothes for both kiddos. Sighh….

I think this is going to be my last post for Christmas. Till then, MERRY CHRISTMAS to all of you out there… and I can’t wait to have my very first Christmas too!!

Desaru, the beach

Friday, October 16th, 2009

Remember on my visit to Ostrich Farm?? Yeah, it was due to heavy rain while we were on our way to Desaru and daddy decided to change plan by visiting Ostrich farm first and to go Desaru seaside later when the rain stop.

There we are at the beach around 6pm. Not many people were there as seem it’s a cold weather.

and the wave is pretty high till my knee…

Of course, when come to water splashing, Xandria is always the happiest babe.

waiting to hop-over the wave…

while Xavier stayed with my mom and sis on the mat…

About an hour later, we were packed up and return home due to the weather changed to cloudy again.

at Park…

Tuesday, October 6th, 2009

As you read my blog, I hardly bring my children for outing, not only for the park. Most of time, they were staying at home with us. On last weekend, I brought them to the park at our neighourhood. It’s not a huge one yet still accommodates with lots of children playing amenities.

Xandria, of course the one who always so happy because of playing on slide which is her favourite. But not for Xavier, he is like so scared of trying on these facilities as it’s new to him (should blame me for not bringing him out frequent). He is feeling so uncomfortable and about to cry out.

Xandria being so excited by standing on the slide

Xandria ready to slide down and Xavier (at the behind) looks so curious what Xandria doing

Finally….

Xavier, frowning on this new toy…no sign of happiness!!

1st family trip to CH…

Thursday, October 9th, 2008

During the long holiday, daddy has finally agreed to bring Xandria and I for a short trip. We went to Cameron Highland (where I’ve been long awaited) on Friday noon and stay for 2 nights to feel the cooling and breezy air. Loves it so much… the greenery scene with colourful flowers surrounding really calmed me down. The best is, little Xandria seems knowing to enjoy that atmosphere as well.

We reached the hill at about 6pm and after checked-in to our hotel, both daddy and I were so tired to go out for dinner. So we had our dinner by ordering ‘room service’. I cleaned up little Xandria and put her on the bed so she can play with her toys. Somehow, she turned out to play at the bed frame by standing up on the bed and free her hand to let her body falling on to the bed suddenly. Both daddy and I got a BIG shocked looking at the ways she plays. I wondered when she got to know to do this… what a dangerous games!!!

The next day, we visited to Strawberry Park. Guess what, we don’t even got chance to show Xandria the strawberry as the strawberry section was closed for visitor for don’t know what reason. Sighh… I only able got to see some nice cactus and other plants. LOL

I feel so grateful that she did enjoyed the trip…

Then, we headed to a café in town that recommended by a blogger for their famous ‘Scone’ with strawberry jam. It’s yummy…!! I heard the café was actually owned by an old Malaysian man who generated the blood of Portugese. We were at the café for more than an hour because it rains dogs and cats and it was pretty cold although it’s daytime. At about 3pm, we returned to hotel for Xandria’s afternoon nap. She needs to have noon nap for about 1-2 hrs everyday without fail… otherwise, her small eyes will be even smaller than usual.

For dinner, we had ‘Steamboat’ at a restaurant that used charcoal instead. We ordered for 2 pax (RM40) but ended up wasting the food as I don’t really eat much and same as daddy. In fact, we had a pretty quick dinner because of Xandria. I found both her palms and cheek were so cold probably due to weather and started to worry if she has catch a cold. Within half an hour, we were back to hotel. I cleaned her up, put her on bed with hot milk and her body temperature seems back to normal. Thanks god ….

Oh ya.. I missed out the The Tea Boh farm, which initially we planned to have a relaxing ‘Tea-time’ by sipping a cup of tea while enjoying the green atmosphere of tea farm. Sigh… maybe next time!!
