**Heartstring of A new mommy**

Like what most parents did during weekend, we always hang around at shopping mall instead outdoor activities. I told daddy we should let the kiddos expose to more outdoor activities. So over the weekend, we went for swimming at clubhouse nearby and it’s a superb hot, sunny day….

Xavier, as usual never freak of water and enjoys splashing moment so much….

While Xandria keep saying, mommy…. i’m swimming now!!! In fact, she is not swimming, she is walking inside the pool

After an hour of dipping or splashing, (definitely not swimming) we headed back for dinner. Both were extremely hungry after that…

Xandria always keep us amused with her words. Like the other days when we were on our journey back home. I was chatting with daddy and my hands were lie on daddy shoulder (as I was sitting at the back passenger seat), Xandria with her immediate response restricted me for doing so by said this:

Xandria: 嘿，不可以! (hey….no)

Then I asked what is the reason for that restriction. She kept quiet but hugging me.

Me: Why can’t mommy put the hand on daddy’s shoulder? Why can’t daddy & mommy hugging or kissing each other? Daddy is mommy’s husband and this is to show we love each other. Can you hug/kiss daddy?
Xandria: Can.
Me: Can di-di hug/kiss daddy?
Xandria: Can
Me: Can mommy hug/kiss daddy?
Xandria: Cannot
Me: Can you hug/kiss your husband? (I mean in future)
Xandria: Can
Me: Then…. Can mommy kiss/hug your husband?
Xandria: Cannot (for her, husband is someone like daddy)

I really run out of idea to make her accepted daddy & mommy is a couple like a pair of shoes…. then I asked her:

Me: Can mommy hug/kiss di-di?
Xandria: Can.

Obviously, mommy is not allowing to hug/kiss MAN.

How time flies. The little girl of mine is into 35 months old today somewhat it was like yesterday that she was born. The memory of what we went through still fresh in my mind. I remembered how tough life would be when she was admitted to hospital due to illness. I remember having to carry her alone in the hospital, meanwhile to hold a big bundle of bag with all her stuff. I would never forget about the first question I got from others if my husband is with me that moment. I would never forget all these memories I went through with her.

Soon she will be having a big THREE birthday and we planned to have a party for her. I wish to get a party organizer for it but daddy wants a simple party instead. Yeah, he is complaining it may cost a ton if to engaged party organizer. Probably I should wait for the return from gold bars investment and see how much I spend for the party.

Happy 35 months old, my little girl. Mommy will always love you….

No matter how busy I tight up with my work, I always allocate time for my dearly kids for weekend outing. Anywhere, simply anywhere as long as they both can enjoy themselves.

Daddy so happened to know a giant ballon playground at Jusco. Paid up RM15 on 30min playtime for each headcount.

Xavier started to feel a bit tired

Xavier was freaked-out with the giant slide, but being excited and keep wanting to climb up to top few minutes later…

Xandria always the looser for new toy. She freaked-out when looking at the giant slide fulled with children. We did the sand art at the beginning and after done, she wanted to join her little brother.

No words can be used to describe my happiness now. Xandria finally wrote her very first letter ‘A’ by herself.

I was so worried if she would continue being rejected to learn a proper way of writing and simply scribbled on the paper. But seem like I’ve been over-worried.

Well done….Xandria!!!

It was a cloudy day and they were crowded with many parent & kiddos…

I simply love weekend. I can spend more time with kiddos, I can enjoy the bonding of ‘mother & son’ or ‘mother & daughter’ with my two darlings. I guess that’s what most working mother’s wish.

Daddy & I agreed to take turn on planning for weekend activities like swimming, kite-ing, drawing, and many more. And on of weekend, we were having great time with kite-ing.

I would never forget about this incident for the rest of my life. Xandria lost in Jusco when we had our weekly groceries shop over the weekend.

We suppose to wait for daddy at the dairy corner (he went to get a packet of rice), Xandria wanted to get a cup of CalciYum for trial. Xavier saw it and wanted to try as well. So I asked Xandria to get another one knowing that the counter just next to us. Xavier dropped the cup & I got to squat down to clean up the mess that Xavier did. After done so, I noticed Xandria didn’t return.

The moment I got to know she wasn’t with me, it was already been about 10 minutes ago. My mind got BLANK; my heart was palpitating. You will never understand how it felt. In a trembling voice, I asked everyone there if they did see a little gal with a blue flower jacket. I asked daddy to notify the security guard as well as Information Counter. I searched around the entire supermarket and prayed hard to God that she has to be fine. After few minutes, I saw daddy holding a little gal while another hand cuddling Xavier. Immediately, I hugged her & cried like a big baby. I was so worry if she was being kidnapped.

Thanks God we found her again and guess what, she was at nearby Exit door (toward parking bay) when the guard found her. I wonder why she would walk till that far. Blame myself for being such careless…

Xandria is getting very good in her vocab nowadays. She is able to speak fluently, she even can correct on your mistake…

Incident 1:
Xavier unintentionally saying a word that sounds like calling the maid ‘mommy’, then she said:

Xandria: 喂，是kakak，不是mommy! (wei… it’s kakak, not mommy!)

Incident 2:
Daddy told her that he would use his car for outing to Jusco, eventually he was using mine.

Xandria: 不是你的car. 是mommy 的car. 这个daddy的car lor…*pointing to daddy car parked beside* (Not your car. It’s mommy car, this is daddy’s car)

Incident 3:
My mom called & asked if she has taken her dinner.

Granny: 萱萱吃饱了吗？
Xandria: 吃饱了，吃吃饭咯！
Granny: 哦, 出去吃饭啊。Mom overheard.
Xandria: 不是，是吃饭！
Granny: 不是吃饭,吃粥啊？
Xandria: 不是啊，是吃饭啊！

And guess what, this conversation about 吃饭 or 吃粥 last for more than 5 minutes. *slap forehead*

As and when Xavier said something that she think it’s not right, she would  correct her little brother by saying:

‘Mommy 你看，弟弟讲blah…blah…blah,不是blah, blah, blah, 是blah, blah, blah…leh!’

(she is using ‘leh’ very often nowadays, probably influenced by her cousin aka Ah Ngm’s daughter)
